Linda Spies spent 34 years with the Gold Trail Union School District in Placerville, CA. As the district’s food service director, she developed school menus, managed orders and deliveries, oversaw food preparation, and made reports to multiple school boards. In addition to working with the school boards at Gold Trail School and Sutter’s Mills Elementary School, Linda Spies regularly attended professional conferences and food trade shows.
During her career, Linda Spies helped students access more nutritious meals. She continues to give back to her community by volunteering with veterans organizations, including Marshall Hospital, and at her church. Linda Spies also enjoys crafting and sewing.
